Thank you Cosentino! The NCR chapter celebrated in style at a Valentine ‘Lunch and Learn’ hosted by Angie Nellis, Architecture and Design Sales Manager of Cosentino Stone. We started with a tour of fabricator Stone Design Concepts, where we learned specifying tips and gained a better understanding of the eco-friendly fabrication process from General Manager Ed Hall.

Following Angie’s CEU presentation on the quartz and glass solid surface applications she gave us an excellent product overview of the Cosentino brands - Silestone, Dekton, N-Boost and Sensa.  The event concluded with a lovely Valentine themed luncheon and an opportunity to chat informally with the industry experts on hand.

Here is the group on the production floor.

The Toronto chapter had a joint CEU lunch & learn event hosted at the Dominion Rug & Home Showroom in Toronto on February 28th.

The presenters were Sherwin-Williams & Coswick Flooring.

Sherwin Williams presented on Colormix Forecast 2019. This took participants on a visual journey with stimulating imagery, factual statistics and perceptive research that supports the 2019 forecast for color and design trends.

Coswick Flooring presented on “How Innovations in Engineered Hardwood Floors Lead to the Expansion of the Range of Use of Pattern and Wide Plank Flooring”. The presentation discussed technological advances in engineered flooring constructions and finishing technologies which allow hardwood flooring manufacturers to safely develop and produce wide plank and pattern flooring solutions, such as herringbones, chevrons, mosaics, and various geometrical shapes.

The event was well attended and everyone enjoyed the informative lectures.
